Pakistan to tour Australia for white-ball series in November

Pakistan to participate in a series of three ODIs and three T20Is in Australia

The series, scheduled from 4 to 18 November, will span six cities

Pakistan is all set to embark on a tour to Australia for a white-ball series set for November this year. This series will herald the commencement of Australia’s white-ball campaign for the summer of 2024-25. The series will consist of six matches in total, including three ODIs and three T20Is, to be held across six venues from 4 to 18 November 2024.

Pakistan will be making a return to Australia nearly 11 months after their last visit, where they competed in the Benaud-Qadir Trophy, involving three Test matches held in Perth, Sydney, and Melbourne in December 2023 – January 2024.

The three-game Dettol Men’s ODI series will kick off on 4 November at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground. Following that, clashes will take place in Adelaide and Perth on 8 and 10 November, respectively. The last time Pakistan played an ODI series on Australian soil was in 2016, where the home team emerged victorious.

Following the ODIs, Pakistan and Australia will square off in the three-match Dettol Men’s T20I series. Pakistan’s most recent T20I appearance in Australia dates back to 2022 when they featured in the final of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.

The series will commence at The Gabba in Brisbane, followed by matches at the Sydney Cricket Ground. Hobart will serve as the final destination of the tour, hosting the last T20I on 18 November.
