Pakistan Women’s Cricket Team is gearing up for the upcoming series against West Indies as they commence their preparations in Karachi. The 20-member squad has checked into a local hotel in the city and is set to begin their training regime. A training session is scheduled at the Hanif Muhammad High Performance Center tomorrow, which will run from 3 pm to 5:30 pm.
The series against West Indies will be a challenging one, comprising three One Day Internationals (ODIs) and five Twenty20 (T20) international matches. The matches are slated to take place at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi, kicking off from April 18. Notably, this ODI series holds special importance as it is part of the prestigious ICC Women’s Championship, adding an extra competitive edge to the games.
In anticipation of the series, the West Indies Women’s Cricket Team is expected to land in Karachi on April 14. Both teams are preparing diligently for what promises to be an exciting and closely contested cricketing showdown.
