PCB and PSL Franchise Owners meeting discussed finalizing HBL PSL 2025 window.
PCB’s offer of assistance to franchise owners in signing marquee players for several years.
HBLPSL 2025 will be the last six-team event. There are plans to add two teams in 2026.
PCB believes that HBLPSL and IPL coexistence in the April/May windows will allow the game, players and fans to benefit and flourish.
Also discussed between PCB and franchise owners is the option of directly signing one player from each franchise
This will be in addition to the marquee player offer in which PCB will support the franchise owners.
PCB will consider Peshawar and Quetta as possible venues for HBLPSL subject to the environment of both cities being conducive and supportive.
Mohsin Naqvi Said, They want to bring Peshawar and Quetta back into the Pakistan cricket calendar by giving them domestic matches in the 2024-25 season.
