Pakistani shooter GM Bashir is also out of the event: Paris Olympics
Paris Olympics 2024 France. GM Bashir scored 581 points in the two stages of the 25m rapid-fire qualification in shooting and did not make it to the top six shooters who made it to the medal round. In the first stage, Ghulam Mustafa scored 292 points. GM Bashir scored 98 points in the first series of 8 seconds, 99 points in the second series of 6 seconds, and 95 points in the series of 4 seconds.
In the second phase, GM Bashir scored 97, 97, and 95 respectively in three series which was not enough to make him top 6. Thus GM Bashir’s trip to the Olympics has also ended, 6 out of 7 Pakistani players going to the Paris Olympics will return home empty-handed.
All Pakistan’s medal hopes now rest on Arshad Nadeem, who will be in action on August 6 in the preliminary round of the javelin throw event and, if he makes it to the final, on August 8.
