Rawalpindi: Bangladesh made history by defeating Pakistan by 10 wickets in the first Test match played at the Rawalpindi Stadium. Pakistan was bowled out for 146 runs in the second innings, and Bangladesh was given a target of 30 runs to win.
In the second innings, Mohammad Rizwan scored 51 runs for Pakistan, while Abdullah Shafiq scored 37 runs, Babar Azam scored 22 runs and (captain) Shan Masood scored 14 runs.
Apart from this, Naseem Shah 3, Shaheen Afridi 2 and Saeem Ayub scored one run while Saud Shakeel and Agha Salman were out for no wickets.
In the second innings, Mehdi Hasan Miraz took 4 and Shakib Al Hasan 3 wickets, while Shoraful Islam, Naheed Hasan, and Hasan Mehmood took one wicket each. The openers Zakir Hasan and Shadman Islam won without losing a wicket.
