The former captain of the national cricket team and famous batsman Shahid Khan Afridi lashed out at the national team for the defeat by Bangladesh in the Test.
Shahid Afridi’s statement on X account said that a 10-wicket loss raises serious questions about the decision to prepare such a pitch, select 4 fast bowlers, and leave out a specialist spinner.
The former captain further said that these decisions show a clear lack of knowledge about home conditions.
He praised the Bangladesh cricket team and said that credit must be given to them for the way Bangladesh played the entire Test.
