Former cricketer Aag Bagola for giving central contract to Haris Rauf

August 30, 2024) The former cricketer was in a frenzy over the recent decision of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to give a central contract to the national team’s fast bowler Haris Rauf in an interview. Ex-cricketer Sikandar Bakht expressed his surprise at PCB’s decision to provide the central contract to fast bowler Haris Rauf and said that he who refused to play a Test match for the country was also given a contract.  He said you can give a central contract but make sure it is only 10% of the current amount because he doesn’t play the longest and real format of the game, bowls 4 overs in a T20 format. Sikandar Bakht Criticized the board for giving NOC to such players for T20 leagues who are performing for the country. These players don’t care about performing well for Pakistan and you have given NOC to all of them.
He argued that players who are not performing should not get NOC approval to participate in T20 leagues abroad. It should be noted that earlier this year he refused to visit Australia for the Test series while His contract had expired. Rauf along with 4 other Pakistani players were given NOCs to participate in various T20 leagues, including the Major Cricket League 2024 in the US and the ongoing Caribbean Premier League 2024 in the West Indies.
